Born in Czechoslovakia in 1990 (Czech Republic since 1992), Kvitová is a two time Wimbledon champ (2011 and 2014) and Australian Open finalist in 2019. She has won the WTA Tour Finals once in 2011, a bronze medalist in the 2016 Olympics, and has led the Czech Republic to victory in the Fed Cup six times (2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018) and the Hopman Cup in 2012.
