Dodgers received Scherzer and Trea Turner, and the Nationals received Josiah Gray, Keibert Ruiz, Donovan Casey, and Gerardo Carrillo. Scherzer was part of a Dodgers team that won 106 games in 2021, but ultimately fell short of the World Series.
