Allison Williams Returns To The Sports Industry After Forced Exit At ESPN;Now Works At Fox Sports And The Daily Wire

Allison Williams is an American sports reporter. She’s 38 years-old. She works for Fox Sports. She also did in-game reporting for the Miami Marlins. Williams previously worked for ESPN before she was forced to leave the network over a Covid-19 vaccine mandate. Williams also works for conservative podcasting network the Daily Wire where she created a sports video series called Breakaways.

Allison Williams was born on January 18, 1984. She grew up in Michigan. She graduated from the University of Miami in 2006 with a degree in broadcast journalism. Williams got her first job in sports reporting in 2008 at Fox Sports Florida, where she covered the Miami Marlins baseball team and the Florida Panthers hockey team until 2010. Williams switched over to ESPN in 2011.

Williams began her 10 year tenure at ESPN in 2011. She was a sideline reporter who covered a variety of college athletics including basketball and football. She started out on Friday Night college football coverage. Williams got switched to covering the Saturday Night college football games in 2016. Williams made regular appearances as a sideline reporter for ESPN from 2011 to September 2021. Williams’ departure from the network was a forced exit after she refused to give in to ESPN’s draconian Covid-19 vaccine mandate for network employees. Williams cited her pregnancy as a reason for not getting vaccinated, but was denied a medical exemption. Williams’ courageous decision left her blacklisted from the broadcast industry. She later signed a deal to cover sports at the Daily Wire. Williams returned to Fox Sports in the summer of 2022.

After being forced out of her job at ESPN for refusing to take the Covid-19 vaccine, Allison Williams reached out to Ben Shapiro, founder of conservative podcasting network Daily Wire, to share her story. This led to Williams creating a new sports miniseries called Breakaways. The series focuses on major sports figures that became pariahs for not going along with the woke mainstream media narratives. In the first four episodes of an 8 part series, Williams interviews professional basketball player Johnathan Isaac, ex-professional basketball player Enes Kanter, UFC President Dana White, and ex-Washington State Football Head Coach Nick Rolovich. The in-depth interviews focus on the individuals brave enough to go against the grain. The series is available with a subscription of Daily Wire+. The first four episodes are out now and the next four are on the way.

Allison Williams got rehired by Fox Sports in August 2022.
