Rachel Stallman

Rachel Stallman is an American volleyball assistant coach and former player. She played college volleyball at MidAmerica Nazarene University and Ottawa University of Arizona. She was an assistant coach for Ottawa University before joining the coaching staff at Arizona State University. Stallman is a coach at the Revolution Volleyball Academy. She has degrees from both MidAmerica Nazarene University and Ottawa University.

Rachel Stallman got her volleyball career started at MidAmerica Nazarene University. She played there for three seasons. During that time, she helped lead the Pioneers to an appearance in the 2015 NAIA Tournament in her junior season. MidAmerica Nazarene lost to Vanguard University in round one. Stallman earned 2015 NAIA First-Team All-American Honors. She was later named to the MidAmerica Nazarene University All-Decade Team.

Rachel Stallman transferred to Ottawa University of Arizona for her senior season in 2016. She set program records for most assists in a single season with 951 and most assists in a single match with 58. Stallman earned 2016 NAIA First-Team All-American Honors. She joined the Ottawa University coaching staff three years later.

Rachel Stallman joined the Ottawa University coaching staff in 2019 as an assistant coach. The Spirit won the 2021 Golden State Athletic Conference championship and were ranked as high as number 16 in the nation that year. Stallman left the program after the 2022 season to join the Arizona State University coaching staff.

Rachel Stallman was brought to Arizona State University in January 2023 as a volunteer coach, but she was later promoted to a full-time assistant coach. In Stallman’s first season as a member of the ASU coaching staff, the Sun Devils are 25-6. They are 13-6 against Pac-12 opponents and have an impressive 9-1 home record. The Sun Devils play their final 2023 regular season game against in-state rival University of Arizona in Tucson on November 25th.

Rachel Stallman earned a degree in Kinesiology at MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2017. She earned a Master of Arts and Leadership degree from Ottawa University in 2020. Stallman is married to Taylor Stallman, the men’s volleyball head coach at Benedictine University in Mesa, Arizona.
