Gabbie Marshall

Gabbie Marshall is a former college basketball player. She’s 23 years-old. She’s 5 feet 9 inches tall. Marshall played for the University of Iowa. She is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Both of her parents also played college basketball. Marshall’s dad played for Bellarmine University and her mom played for Aquinas College.

Gabbie Marshall was born on August 22, 2000 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She played high school basketball at Mount Notre Dame High School. Marshall led her school to Ohio state titles in 2017 and 2019. She earned All-State honors three times.

Gabbie Marshall committed to compete for the University of Iowa beginning with her Freshman season in 2019/2020. During her time with Iowa, the Hawkeyes won three straight Big Ten Tournament titles from 2022 to 2024. In her Senior season, Marshall alongside super star teammate Caitlin Clark, led Iowa to the 2023 NCAA Tournament Title Game where they eventually lost to LSU. With an extra year of eligibility due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Marshall returned to Iowa for a 5th season. The Hawkeyes made it back to the title game in 2024 where they lost to an undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks team. It became Iowa’s second straight national runner-up finish. Despite being eligible for the WNBA draft, Marshall chose to forego the draft and pursue further education.

Gabbie Marshall is currently pursuing a masters degree in occupational therapy.
